Purpose of Job:
To help ensure that business objectives and contractual obligations, terms and conditions are met, ensuring compliance where applicable. To suitably and properly represent the Company both in quality of work and customer service.
To perform duties as allocated by the Line Manager and to supervise on site sub-contractors.
Key Responsibilities

Purpose of Job:
To carry out maintenance duties associated with the motorways network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- To carry out fault rectification and routine maintenance on Highways Agency infrastructure, equipment and systems.
- To participate in an out of hours stand-by system, being called out to rectify faults as required.
- To ensure compliance with contract service level requirements.
- To assist in the planning and managing of installation and maintenance works.
- To red line update drawings and assist in maintaining the asset database.
- To carry out installation works.
- To carry out testing and commissioning of Highways agency equipment, infrastructure and systems.

Senior Development Engineer
Reports to: Product Development Manager
Location: Basingstoke

Purpose of Job:
To create effective product designs and support Peek products throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- To generate cost-effective solutions for new products or customer proposals, together with detailed estimates of equipment cost, development cost, development timescales and any significant technical risks.
- To generate modifications and additions to existing designs as approved via the change control process duly considering all factors associated with the change affecting product use, interoperability, product life expectancy etc
- On going product lifecycle support of existing and new products, assessment of in-service product performance including, fault analysis and reliability maintaining and where appropriate propose modifications.
- To provide regular reports to the Hardware Group Leader, indicating progress against agreed time and cost targets, and highlighting any unresolved technical issues.
- To ensure adherence to Company and Customer, Quality and Safety standards.
- To interface with the Highways Agency and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- To work closely with Production Engineering and the Drawing Office to ensure the smooth transition of product and engineering changes from design to manufacture.
- To ensure that all new products are fully documented, to allow them to be easily manufactured, installed and maintained.

Senior Software Engineer
Reports to: Software Manager

Purpose of Job:
To contribute to the existing software design teams in order to develop software to quality, on time and to requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing design specifications at both a product and a module level for dissemination to the software team and/or customer
- Designing, developing and testing code
- Preparing test schedules at both a module and a product level

Purpose of Job:
- To procure component and assemblies to agreed plans for both mainline products and project requirement
- To develop partnerships and relations through liaising, meetings and negotiations with vendors to ensure deliveries within terms, conditions and company policies.
- To access potential clients and maintain measurement of supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
- By the use of minimised numbers of suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, placement of purchase orders and expedite to achieve maximum cost benefit to the company.
- To organise the placement of purchase orders to fill the MRP requirements each week and hence maintain component supply in accordance with the production plan.
- To effectively manage sub contractors ensuring that supplies meet Peek’s output plan.
- Plan and schedule main signal components from suppliers in order to meet Peek’s manufacturing plan
- Regularly review forecasts with all areas of the business for specified products and enter onto JDE One World at designated intervals.

Electronics Technician
Reports to: Product Development Group Leader

Purpose of Job:
To assist the design engineers by producing prototypes and assembly of manufactured components. The role will also involve debugging faults in electronic equipment to component level with assistance from the designer and defining and building test equipment for use by Production.
Key Responsibilities
- Basic electronic design, soldering, printed circuit board and mechanical assembly.
- Given a circuit diagram, implementation (including cables, electronic circuits on breadboard, housing etc.) to acceptable safety standards.
- Checking operation of prototypes based on circuit diagrams and other drawings, identifying and correcting faults.

Project Engineer
Reports to: HA Projects Manager

Purpose of Job:
To support the Project Managers in HA Major Projects with the delivery and maintenance of systems to customers and to provide customer support in the resolution of technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine monitoring of the installed HADECS and Ramp Metering systems to identify and report faults, and to track faults through to resolution within contractual timescales through liaison with the Fault Management desk and on-site engineers.
- Provide project managers with reports on the operation of the maintenance regimes.
- Procure and assemble hardware components into subsystems and systems and following delivery, function test to confirm their suitability as required for the product.
- Produce and maintain hardware build documentation as required by the project quality plan.
- Provide reports on technical issues to the Project Manager and/or Projects Director and assist in the project planning process by providing accurate timescale estimates for any customer or internally generated change request.
- Define and maintain a suitable configuration management system for all hardware items used on the project including any third party items of equipment supplied for use by the project (including items on loan).
- Produce and maintain installation and commissioning plans, method statements and risk assessments as required for the projectand perform or assist as required with both factory and site acceptance tests
- Ensure that the mechanical and electrical installation of assembled systems is safe for use by others during the development phase of the project.
