Imtech Infra, a sister company within the Traffic & Infra Division, has developed a solution called ‘Task Manager’ which enables the efficient and flexible arrangement of operator desks in traffic control centres. To effectively apply dynamic traffic management in case of emergencies or during peak hours, it is often necessary to have several operator desks. The Task Manager can be used to control the arrangement of the operator desks and adapt it to sudden changes; applications can instantly be allocated to preferred operator desks. During quiet periods, the Task Manager can easily trim down the number of operational operator desks, without reducing the degree of control.
