Microwave Vehicle Detector (AGD200)

TR2123 approved AGD200 unit for detecting vehicles approaching intersections. This unit has user adjustable range, speed threshold and direction of detection. Using CW microwave techniques this unit sets the standard in terms of reliable above ground vehicle detection.

Microwave Pedestrian Detector (AGD220)

TR2179 approved AGD220 unit for detecting on crossing pedestrian movement. This unit has user adjustable zone length, speed threshold and extension time. Using CW microwave techniques reliable detection is achieved irrespective of the weather conditions.

Video Pedestrian Detector (AGD625)

TR2507 approved AGD625 unit for detecting pedestrian waiting to cross the road (or other object detection applications). This brand new unit uses dual cameras and an inbuilt infrared illuminator to provide guaranteed round-the-clock detection performance in a user configurable zone. Set up is simple using a software tool running on a laptop computer that enables the engineer to directly view & change the detection zone. Other adjustable parameters include the presence time and the hold time. A useful feature of this detector unit is its ability to identify if the image it “sees” has become of too low a quality to provide reliable detection. If this occurs then the unit will produce a permanent detect enabling the monitoring traffic controller to detect the fault and act accordingly.
